You can charge a client’s card on file for a no-show.
✨ Here’s How
-
Open the appointment
Go to your Calendar and select the booking for the client you want to charge.
-
Confirm there’s a card on file
The client’s profile will appear at the top of the appointment. Make sure they have a saved card — this is required to process the charge.
-
Tap Checkout
Begin the checkout process just like a normal sale.
-
Skip rebooking (if asked)
If you are prompted about rebooking, continue without selecting any rebooking options.
-
Adjust the no-show charge (if needed)
If you charge a reduced fee rather than the full service price:
-
Tap the service in the checkout list.
-
Select Add a Discount.
-
Choose or add a No Show Discount (e.g., 50% or your custom value).
-
Tap Save to apply the discount.
-
-
Continue to payment
Tap Continue to advance to the payment options.
-
Charge the card on file
Choose Card on File, review the amount, then tap Charge to finalize the transaction.
-
Send the receipt
Once the payment is processed, you can send the client a digital receipt.
✅ Tip: After charging, the appointment will show as Paid, and you can review the transaction from the receipt screen anytime.
