✂️ Setting Up Services
This guide will show you how to create and customize services in your salonMonster account.
🪜 Follow These Steps
1. From the Menu ☰, select Settings.
2. Select Services.
3. (Optional) Create a new Category by tapping + New Category, giving it a name (e.g., “Haircuts”), and selecting Save.
4. Tap + New Service to create a service.
5. Enter a Service Name (e.g., “New Haircut”).
6. Add a Description (optional but recommended).
7. Decide how prices display:
- Show a fixed price (e.g., “$75.00”), or
- Show “Starting at” if the price may vary.
8. Assign which staff can provide the service.
- If only you provide it, toggle the option for yourself.
- If you have multiple staff, you can set different prices and durations for each.
9. Set the Service Duration:
- Use a simple duration (e.g., 60 minutes), or
- Use a split appointment (bookback) with 3 parts:
- Start Duration (e.g., applying color)
- Processing Duration (time available for other bookings)
- Finishing Duration (e.g., rinsing and cutting)
10. Assign the service to a Category.
11. Select Save.
✅ After saving, your new service will appear under its category (e.g., “Haircuts”) and will be ready to book.
